Ecco's Story Booster!

上周一的小奶娃故事班主題是Jungle，當然不能漏了我很愛的Walking Through the Jungles，跟前幾篇分享的We All Go Traveling By一樣是Barefoot Books出版，歌曲好聽好唱，圖畫鮮豔亮麗，非常棒的有聲書！
前幾次講這個故事，都是用headbands讓孩子做角色扮演，邊唱邊玩，也試過讓家長扮演故事裡的動物角色，"... chasing after me!" 好刺激！這一次備課時，在腦海裡把自己的手偶頭套點點名，lion, whale, snake, wolf, croccodile, bear，發現每一個角色我都有耶，所以當然就用手偶頭套取代headbands啦！

上周的小奶娃故事班進行的是字母A的第二週，主題定為Alligator，我們聽了alligator的故事，做了alligator勞做，當然也唱了alligator的歌曲。其中Dr. Jean的這一首The Alligator Chant簡單易學、輕快好聽、大人小孩都好喜歡！下課後還看到可愛的Katie扭著屁股自己哼唱著"Can be your friend. Can be your friend. Can be your friend, too. Woo!" 實在好可愛～
在Youtube找到有人做了簡單的歌曲動畫，媽媽們除了聽我們的音樂跟孩子一起唱跳之外，不妨也讓孩子看看動畫版增加印象喔！
 
 

上周的小奶娃故事班故事主題是Transportations，聽了好多交通工具的故事，唱了好多交通工具的歌，玩得非常過癮。
這一本We All Go Traveling By是交通工具主題裡永遠無敵的繪本，豐富鮮艷的畫風、輕快好聽的旋律，每次都毫不例外的讓孩子和媽咪們情不自禁的搖頭晃腦唱起來~

這段Finger Rhyme上傳好久了，一直忘了貼過來分享。
這首Fuzzy Wuzzy Caterpillar手指謠是以前一位外師同事分享的，我常用來在故事時間跟孩子們邊玩邊唱。可是打算在網路上跟大家分享時，發現在YouTube找不到任何清晰版本，倒是有幾段孩子唸唱的版本，好可愛，不過旋律跟我聽到的版本都有一些些差異。只好自己粉墨登場，獻醜囉～ 

旋律是The Laughing Policeman，歌詞有很多種版本，我分享的是下面這個版本：

在Rebecca老師的部落格看到她分享I Went Walking 的歌曲，正是我買的中英有聲書裡的歌曲，非常輕快好聽。可是這有聲書買了對我卻無用武之地，甚是可惜。因為之前幾次說這個故事時，我把內文套用到Frère Jacques（兩隻老虎）清唱，旋律簡單、節奏輕快，而且幾乎每個孩子都會唱兩隻老虎，所以只要我一開口，就會看到一張張驚喜的小臉立刻跟唱起來，很有成就感、很歡樂的模樣。以至於後來說這個故事時，仍然習慣唱Frère Jacques版本。
 跟大家分享Frère Jacques版本的I Went Walking。（不是我的原創，可是想不起來是聽哪位老師唱了…）

今年萬聖節，雖然不同的故事班裡講了不同的相關故事，但都主打大家耳熟能詳的Halloween Rhyme－Five Little Pupmkins，以Dan Yaccarino的Five Little Pumpkins 為主，搭配自製教具，有的班僅念讀韻文，有的唱成歌，用的是這個曲調。

上一篇提到，我搭配圖畫故事書All Fall Down的延伸活動是童謠"Ring Around the Rosie"，歌詞如下：

“Found a Peanut”這首童謠用的是耳熟能詳的Oh My Darling, Clementine的旋律，加上重複性高的歌詞和可替代的歌詞，使它成為家喻戶曉的Road TripSong。不過它也是一首很另類的童謠，歌詞觸及「死亡」，但其實天馬行空。記得我第一次聽的不只專心，還聽到瞠目結舌，最後莫名奇妙被戳到笑穴，笑趴在地。之後旋律和歌詞在腦袋裡飄了好久，有機會就喜歡哼哼這首歌。
這首歌不同版本有些微差異，比較普及的歌詞版本如下：

Cried Granny是一本很另類的「類」晚安書。其實他的全名是What! Cried Granny: An Almost Bedtime Story。噗，Almost，妙哉。
故事描述到奶奶家過夜的Patrick，到了該上床睡覺的時間卻東缺一樣，西缺一樣，怎樣都無法上床。愛孫心切的奶奶卯足了勁兒幫愛孫張羅，先是砍樹造床，還要收集雞毛做枕頭、剃羊毛織毯子，最後還做了一支超大的Teddy Bear，等到萬事具備的時候，天都亮啦～真是個連大人讀了也會會心一笑的幽默故事。
